Position: Technical Sales Advisor
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Cambridge, Ontario
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our manufacturing products and solutions, including their technical specifications and applications.
· Identify potential clients and proactively approach them to promote our products and services, aiming to build and expand our customer base.
· Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with prospective clients to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.
· Collaborate with the sales team and technical experts to respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and address any technical concerns.
· Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
· Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to effectively position our products in the market.
· Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to represent the company and generate new leads.
· Prepare sales reports and forecasts, tracking your performance against set targets and goals.
· Make sure all sales and product development are made to respect the customers needs and specifications.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
· Strong technical aptitude and the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts quickly.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.
· Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
· A customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address client needs effectively.
· Willingness to travel to customer sites, trade shows, and other events as required.
· Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
· Ability to travel in the United States
